Chair
With the way hiking gear is going lighter and lighter, one day we will all have no qualms about carrying a camp chair. As it is now, a decent camp chair may only set you back a pound of weight in your pack! This may not be a luxury most hikers would opt into if they were on a long distance hike, but it does make it wildly possible for a weekend backpacker to really, thoroughly and truly kick back and relax in the backcountry. Some
camp chairs pack down to just a little larger than a 1.5 liter Nalgene, coming in their own zipper pouch carrying case. If you think it's ridiculous to bring a chair when you can just use a log, then you can't deny that these chairs make tail gating, fireside hang outs, road tripping and so many more super fun activities way more comfortable!!
